jimmymc, 19 Sep : 16:42 About the Kentucky Fighting Challenge: We started this in late 2002,myself, Jamie Hale and Joe Jordan. Our goal was to have the best MMA fights in the safest setting for the fighters and fans. We worked with some great people who provided us with great support. Rather than hiding our sport we went to the Kentucky Athletic Commission and got there permission to put on our first event which was held in Lexington Ky. on Aug.2 2003. Since that time we have continued to grow.Our goals are to unite all promoters and figters in our sport so we can all bring the best in MMA fighting to Kentucky.We thank Darren Vanhorn, Michael O'Donnell, Aaron Little, Aaron Basil, James Underwood,and all who donated there time and advise in making this happen.
